It feels so good to have a nice home and a good family. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t unpleasant times, but knowing that I am with people who love me is a most wonderful feeling! OMG, I’m starting to sound like Doc! Well, he is a sweetie, so it’s really not a bad thing.
Before I came to live with Alex and our family, I don’t really remember anything other than the day we met. But I do remember that very well! I’ll keep it brief, as you already have read about it in previous postings. I’ll never forget how happy, excited and grateful that she was knowing that I would be coming to live with her. I’ll never forget seeing Doc and Larry for the first time and being totally smitten. I’ll never forget arriving home and meeting the rest of the family!
Doc and Larry have been very welcoming and helpful. They have talked to me a lot about Alex and of course, I have learned a lot about her in the few short months that I have lived here. I love watching how they interact with Alex. I love it when the kiddo bounces in and they spend time together. I love it how HH will give me a tender kiss before he leaves for work in the morning and of course, I love watching the pets do their thing!
Thanksgiving is coming up in a few short weeks and I am excited! Not just about the good food, but the fact that I have a loving family to spend it with! I’m sure the food is going to be great too!
