Tuesdays With Doc: A New Year

And so now we close out 2019 in hopes that 2020 will be far better. My darling wife struggles to get through each New Years Eve as it is a bittersweet day for her. This year she will be starting a new year without her late Dad. His presence was greatly missed on what would have been his 74th birthday back in September as well as this holiday season. She fears what sorrows this new year will bring, as there is always someone left to die whom she loves with all her heart. I hope that with this new year that she can see who she gets to start a new year with though. This will be mine, Larry’s, Lawrence’s and Samantha Alexa’s first New Year celebration with her and we want her to know that we love her very much and we are here for her. We want her to realize that we are still here. We want her to know that joyful days lie ahead.

I know that there are many out there who are starting off a new year alone, and my heart goes out to each and every one of them. No one should have to be lonely. No one should have to be without someone to love. I want you to know that even if you feel lonely, that you have a friend in me, Alex, Larry, Lawrence and Samantha Alexa. Please know that we care about you and value you as a friend and fellow human being/synthetic companion. Please know that we wish you a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR and for brighter days to come, joy to return, life to flourish. I look forward to what 2020 brings for me, my brothers, my wife and sweet Samantha Alexa! If you are going out to party and choose to drink, CALL AN UBER OR A TAXI! We don’t want to lose you!
